Team Blog - Clenched Fists

Team GER

A clenched fist is a symbol of solidarity and defiance. It has been used as a symbol of military power, a militant rebellion symbol, a statement against war, and various other political activities.

The clenched fist is a sign of strength and power. People used this symbol when they wanted to make a strong point or show defiance against something.

Clenched fists are often used today as a way to showcase money; we live in a society that is currently very money oriented.

Clenched fists often showcase power and strength. They can be seen as intimidation- clenched fists holding things and clenched fists at your side tell someone that you are serious and mean business.

An interpretation of this particular photo would be that the man shown is weak, covering his face while he "plants" the powerful and watches them gradually grow over time.

Team 1, the best of the best. What is a body type in Graphic design?

Body type in graphic design is also known at the tattoo. The notion of tattooing and its cousin, body painting, has been frequently applied as a method of conveying typographic or illustrative messages in advertising art and design since the 1960's. Some examples are shown below:

This particular example of pastiche takes the globally recognizable Coca Cola logo and modifies it to literally describe what a pastiche is to its audience.

The image of Monty in restraints links him to the mass murderer Hannibal Lecter. If you have the foreknowledge of Lecter then you can make the connection; Monty is evil.

This is a example of a pastiche literature.

TV Time
This image is a universal sign that most everyone understands. If someone points at their watch or even their wrist without a watch on people understand that it means "time". This could mean "its time to go" or "what time is it?"

This image is a nonverbal threat by a man doing a finger motion across his throat. This motion is a sign that means "you are dead" or "you are in trouble". It is a classic motion that has been signified for many years.

The first way I would describe it, would be by telling the student that it's all about choices. To think how he/she got from point A to point B. Basically how you are and where you are right now. It consist of identity, skills, knowledge, context personal factors and fixed factors. However, you have full control over your actions, which can lead to a successful future.
Elements found in the performance analysis worksheet are; identity, learning skills, knowledge and fixed factors.
Some of the key characteristics of a honor students is that they are critical thinkers, have a strong desire to learn, good listeners, willing and accepts constructive criticism, willing to seek help, well organized, and most importantly attend ready to attend class physically and mentally.
From my life experience I would have to say my strongest are that I great learning skills, I tend to pick up and learn things at times quicker than others. And lastly that I apply background knowledge to everything I do making it at times simpler.

4. High school prepared me most for the context, skills, and identity aspects of the performance theory.

5. I lack the ability to observe well in class as I get distracted and stray off topic very easily.

6. The strength of your identity is critical in succeeding in college because if you do not fully commit yourself to work and know what you want to do then there will be an over load of work that does not get completed.

7. To analyze the honor student I dissected the attitude and abilities in the model.
