Branding Campaign

Branding Campaign is a way for marketers to get the community to buy their product. Marketers will use cute and funny pictures on their campaigns, so when people enter a store they will remember that product. Sometimes the marketers will use songs in their campaigns, if there on the television. For example at the top, the 3 Musketeers candy bar company has three guys on their campaign.

Public Service Campaign

Public Service Campaign is to inform the communities about things that maybe happening. These campaigns are to try to prevent it in the future. The topics could be political viewpoint, philosophical theory, religious concept or humanitarian notion. The campaigns are usually broadcast on a radio or television, it could also be in newspapers. The funds for these campaigns are often sponsored by trade associations, civic organizations, non-profit institutions or religious groups. In my example up top, the National Drug Councils made this Public Service Campaign against drug use. They had stated on the photo that drugs hurt everyone and not just the drug user.

sustainable packaging

sustainable packaging is when packaging is recycled and is good for the environment. packaging that will break down easily outside and won't harm anything.

Comic book lettering has some grammatical and aesthetic traditions that are unique. What follows is a list that every letterer eventually commits to his/her own mental reference file. The majority of these points are established tradition, sprinkled with modern trends and a bit of my own opinion having lettered professionally for a few years now. The majority of these ideas have been established by Marvel and DC, but opinions vary from editor to editor, even within the same company.

Perfect Rectangle

Perfect Rectangles

Also known as the “golden rectangle” which is what most graphic artist use the "perfect formula" to use in-order to help them achieve the perfect rectangle that would for many projects. The reason being that many standard page size, which many find limits their design.  Despite that, many poster or book covers are squatter than the “Perfect Rectangle” which has a 1:4 ratio instead of the ideal 1:6 ratio.

"Good Design"

There can be no such thing as good design. Everybody has there on taste. There is no one person who decides whether your art or quality in work is "good design".

Some people may look at this photo and see that its just a broken up circle. But other may think it has special meaning because it shows a disaster occurred hidden behind the circles. So to somebody this means something.

This can also represent Good Design based on how you look or think about it. 

The Provocative Gesture

The Provocative Gesture design are commonly used for advertisement. It most commonly uses iconic heroes or symbols in meaningful poses for differential goods or services.

Extreme Close-Ups

Extreme Close-Ups are photographs, films, or television shots taken at close range and usually are a detailed or intimate view or examination of the "picture".

Vibrating color

 Vibrating color is colors of opposition on the colorwheel put together to create a sort of vibrating affect. the first picture shows a very strong color vibration while the second picture is a much weaker color vibration.

Night Spectaculars

Night Spectaculars: was interduced in the 1920's. when lighted advertising billboards were put up in paris. it was considered a visual manesfestation of modernity.

Motion Graphics: a novel form of communication that combines motion and sound.  Graphics are combined with video footage and sound to create what is an illusion of movement.

 

 

Shadow Play

Shadow play or also known as shadow puppetry is an ancient form of storytelling and entertainment which uses flat articulated figures to create the impression of moving humans and other three-dimensional objects. This pictures show shadow play because its an old picture in which  puppets are use to tell some part of a story.

Motion Graphics

Motion Graphics are graphics that use video footage and/or animation technology to create theillusion of motion or rotation, graphics are usually combined with audio for use in multimedia projects.This picture shows motion graphic because even tho this is a still picture of a design it still have the illusion that this image is moving when it is still.

A pictogram is a simplistic and basic picture that represents a word or idea. for example stop signs, recycle sign, etc.

Abstraction is not visually in order and can be determined as complex designs that you must use imagery o use to understand it. Most people do not use abstract motifs all because it is undefined. It is basically just random shapes that can go together in an unusual way.

Collages are an idea of using scissors and glue to make artwork from recycled material. It is the destruction of one source in order to create a whole new piece.

pictograph

Pictograms can be another form of talking or writing and are just simple designs. A pictogram can represent words using images. A pictogram can be found on signs or apps.

photomantage riddles and rebuses

Photomantage is the process and result of cutting photos up and then placing them all together to create a bigger picture.This technique is called composying by professionals. I feel that this is a really hard skill even though it looks pretty easy.
A riddle is a statement phrase or a question that has a double meaning which makes a it a puzzle to be solved. There are two types of ways to express riddles which are metaphorical and allegorical. this will require careful thinking to get the answer. I believe that riddles help you think in odd ways which could make other things easier to answer.


A rebus is an allusional device that uses pictures to represent words or parts of words.
I find rebuses to be useful to people who can learn words as easy as others

Supreme Geometry

With supreme geometry, the black square in the back is used to bring out the color and shapes used for the the logo. The shapes are used to form the R and M that mean rough magic.
