GuMM'D- Corporate Identity
Edited by Charles Harageones

The concept of Corporate Identity first began in early 20th century Germany, pioneered by a graphic designer and architect named Peter Behrens. He designed a coherent logo and configuration that became official, a staple included in all works for the electrical company that he created the work for. This was the first a company had adopted a standard sigil, a sign or logo that could be used to identify them on a regular basis to those outside and inside the company.

A corporate identity is the way in which the consumer recognizes a company. Other than media ads, a business card is a great way to convey what your company does as well as containing important information such as phone number, web address, street address, etc.

The logo next to the sign that says Computer Store, identifies itself as its own brand for their company. Its a big company where they sell all kinds of computers available. The logo speaks for itself for a balancing act, which means it will attract old and new customers for a better purpose on ads from magazines, to television commercials.

This picture shows the corporate identity, which is the overall image of a corporation in the viewpoints of others, of Lipa Ink Tattoo Shop. The effectiveness of the images are determined by how unique the wording and/or logos are to help people better remember it.
