Here the author, Zenity from Deviantart.com, shows a great example of a ransom note. Even though it is joking about the situation. It shows how a ransom note is used to get someone to do something for you while you have something of theirs. The typography side of things shows all the random typefaces used, and no way of telling who it came from. None of the letter fonts are the same, and they are taken from random magazine clippings.
This image was posted by Jessica Croce on Behance.net. A ransom note is letters cut out of books, magazines, or and other print. the point is to make sure the person reading the letter doesn’t know who sent the letter, hiding their identity. This not doesn’t hide the writer but produces the same concept as a ransom note.
This was an ad by Whitney Kirk to target a specific subculture of people such as punks and rebels while at the same time drawing attention to the name of the shoe. The simplicity consistency of the ad is shown by the use of three colors and the repetition of font styles.

This is an example of a plain and simple ransom note. It was produced digitally as a project for ITT Tech. I found it a little difficult to follow, however, I found some slight humor inside.
