Fantastic Five: Monumental Images

Monumental Image: A picture, sculpture, building, or really anything that represents something meaningful to a large population.

 
This is an image if one of the pools at Ground Zero NY where the North Twin Tower was located before its collapse during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. These pools/monuments mean a great deal to Americans because it allows us to remember the people who's lives were lost on that tragic day.

Here is a picture of the United States Flag that is monumental to every citizen of America as well as others outside of the country. This flag represents hope, freedom, independency, and honor. This cherished flag goes without saying as one of the most, if not, the most important symbolic image of our country.

Here is a picture of one of the Most Famous people of all time; Martin Luther King Jr. In this photo, he is giving his "I have a dream" speech. Martin Luther King Jr. is monumental for his perseverance in desegregating our country and making America more peaceful.
