Team Awesome- Dust Jackets

A dust jacket is a removable cover for a bounded book. Originally dust jackets were plain paper wrappers with cut outs to reveal the title and author of the book. Later on they started to print more designs on the dust jackets for more advertising appeal.

This first picture shows a dust jacket that has a design on it to make it more appealing for sale and protects the book.



This second picture shows a plain dust jacket that is strictly used for protecting the book and would not help advertisment.
