Mascot: a person or thing that is supposed to bring good luck or that is used to symbolize a particular event or organization.

When we saw this mascot we thought it was a mascot for a video game due to its three unique poses. The way they made it look like he is running in one of the poses really give it the video game appearance.

This brought up much controversy between the group because, some of us thought it was directed more to advertising. Advertising in the sense of selling bath items to children due to its friendly features and how octopuses live in the water. Others thought it gave the appearance more of a comic book character.

These mascots gave the impression they are part of a television show for children. This was assumed due to there vibrant colours and over exaggerated features which definitely would attract children to watch this television show.
