sankofa perfect rectangles

Perfect Rectangles

Thats a shape that has 2 sides that are short and 2 long sides that are equal in length

This Iis a example of a perfect rectangle. The top and bottom sides are equal to each other. The sides are as well.  If they where not this wouldnt be a perfect rectangle.  It would be a polygon.

This is a example of a none perfect rectangle.  All for sides are equal.  That makes it a square because a rectangle has long and short sides.  They are similar because they both have 4 right angles that are 90 degrees and a area of 360

Shapes can be put together to make a perfect rectangle.  In the picture it shows 2 shapes being combined to make a rectangle.  Pushing them together you see that the top and bottom are equal and the left is now equal to the right.
